Rated 4 out of 5 by from Your bow experience should start with a SB-1 I'm a Rifleman, but with the way game Seasons lineup bow hunting is the best way to get that big buck. When I decided to get a bow I wanted it to be reasonably priced yet still be able to confidently put hits where they needed to be. Over the past for months I've been practicing with my SB-1 and can say with confidence this bow performs. For a reasonably priced bow you can't expect everything but with the SB-1 you can expect accuracy. My only qualm it is a little loud and the sight that comes with the bow in my opinion should be upgraded to achieve everything the bow has to offer. I cannot wait to take this for early archery!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome Bow to Start and Stay With. Love It! My first compound bow- Took up archery after cataract surgery made it possible to see again. The versatility and ease in setting up this bow, and the quality, made it an easy choice. Started at 40 lb draw- let me concentrate on form and accuracy- now up to 55, and thinking maybe I should take up hunting again. For nearly anyone, this is a bow that can do it all. The package is a great place to begin, and as you progress, it's nearly as much fun to outfit your bow as it is to shoot it (not really). My prior archery experience was with recurve bows- while they remain fun, the accuracy of my SB-1 astounds me! More pleased with this purchase than anything I've bought in a long, long time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great introductory bow Never shot before owning this bow and didn't want to overspend on something that might not get used frequently. Adjustability appealed to me, as I could eventually pass down to my son. I typically live by the "you get what you pay for" mentality and my sb1 didn't disappoint! I took this out in the woods after shooting for 1-2 months prior to hunting season and ended up taking my first buck ever from a tree stand 25 yards away. Dropped him where he stood so I'd say it can only get better from here as I draw on that experience. Equipment certainly didn't fail this new bow hunter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bow! Last year was my first year ever hunting. I am into a DIY mantality and after lots of practice I felt confident in the bow. I was into one particular Elk for well over a week and was able to take a shot but missed at just 30 yards. My dad said I was at full dray for about a min and fifteen seconds, it was a long time! Found the arrow untouched without blood or hair. A relief after looking for the animal for over 15 hours. The arrow was 60ish feet away from where the animal was standing. Less than 90 days until opening day. Shooting 15 arrows with the edge! Really enjoy it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ABSOLUTE PRECISION! My first compound bow was the Allen (1973). Have had several others, however the Edge SB-1 appears to be the last compound I will ever need. The bow is completely adjustable both for draw length and draw weight. The SB-1 is extremely accurate because it can be completely customized and fitted to the user. This bow is so consistent that I will only shoot three arrows, at 45 yards, at a target to keep from damaging the first two. I've up graded the sight and arrow rest that came with the bow, however it did not improve its accuracy. Can't wait for the deer season!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good bow I bought this now about a year ago and have really liked it. After shooting several others in the shop this one felt so much more at home in my hands than the others. I started with another brand on one of their older models and had planned to stick with them. But the bow they offered in my price range didn't feel anywhere near as good as this Diamond. It's been consistent for me so far. Keeps pie plate size groups at 50yds. May do better with a more skilled archer, but that's good enough for me and don't forget this is not a top shelf bow. It's good, but there are others with better components and technology. I would recommend this bow to anyone. It's price and quality are great. Try it in a store and I'd bet you'll like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bow I am 47 years old and decided to get back into archery. Archers Addiction in Sioux Falls SD reccomended this bow for me, due to its pricepoint, quality, and simplicity of adjustment. Setup and tuning was minimal. I have shot my diamond 2 to 3 times a week since purchase a few months ago. I developed my form on the stock setup. I am now at the point where I upgraded to a drop away rest and a 5 pin sight. The stock equipment is good, but i upgraded due to my personal preference. The bow is very accurate. I am really looking forward to hunting this fall.
