Rated 4 out of 5 by from Your bow experience should start with a SB-1 I'm a Rifleman, but with the way game Seasons lineup bow hunting is the best way to get that big buck. When I decided to get a bow I wanted it to be reasonably priced yet still be able to confidently put hits where they needed to be. Over the past for months I've been practicing with my SB-1 and can say with confidence this bow performs. For a reasonably priced bow you can't expect everything but with the SB-1 you can expect accuracy. My only qualm it is a little loud and the sight that comes with the bow in my opinion should be upgraded to achieve everything the bow has to offer. I cannot wait to take this for early archery!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great introductory bow Never shot before owning this bow and didn't want to overspend on something that might not get used frequently. Adjustability appealed to me, as I could eventually pass down to my son. I typically live by the "you get what you pay for" mentality and my sb1 didn't disappoint! I took this out in the woods after shooting for 1-2 months prior to hunting season and ended up taking my first buck ever from a tree stand 25 yards away. Dropped him where he stood so I'd say it can only get better from here as I draw on that experience. Equipment certainly didn't fail this new bow hunter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome Bow to Start and Stay With. Love It! My first compound bow- Took up archery after cataract surgery made it possible to see again. The versatility and ease in setting up this bow, and the quality, made it an easy choice. Started at 40 lb draw- let me concentrate on form and accuracy- now up to 55, and thinking maybe I should take up hunting again. For nearly anyone, this is a bow that can do it all. The package is a great place to begin, and as you progress, it's nearly as much fun to outfit your bow as it is to shoot it (not really). My prior archery experience was with recurve bows- while they remain fun, the accuracy of my SB-1 astounds me! More pleased with this purchase than anything I've bought in a long, long time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first bow I have a bunch of friends that are into archery and I thought it sounded like a great addition to my normal rifle hunting routine. I did a lot of research before landing on the SB-1 and what drew me to it was the versatility. Being new to the sport I had no idea what draw length or draw weight would be best for me. I was able to watch a few videos from Diamond and fit the bow to my size with basic tools and no need for a press. The other benefit that I didn't consider at the time of purchase but am really glad I have is the ease at which the draw weight can be adjusted. I started at 55 lbs. and was able to increase it every couple of weeks as the draw became easier. I have now maxed out the limbs and am very comfortable pulling this bow back at full power. Still new to archery but I am getting consistent groups at 40 yards and even had my first Robin Hood. All in all I am very pleased with the bow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A outstanding bow! After complete right shoulder rebuild I gave up archery. 15 years later I enter a bow shop and explain to the young man behind the counter that I would like to see if I could draw a bow. He picks a bow and does about 5 minute set up and takes me into the target room. I shoot this bow several times and I'm hooked. Drawing the bow at 40 lbs. and no pain. I purchase this bow, a Diamond SB-1 and I'm back into it. Now shooting 3-D with my grandson and his wife and many friends from past archery days. Thanks Diamond for this bow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Bow! This was my first bow purchase and I am glad I went with the SB-1. I bought the SB-1 for a hunting bow and since I didn't know anything about compound bow I went with the SB-1 R.A.K. package. This was an easy way to get into the sport without spending a huge amount of cash to see if I would actually enjoy shooting a compound bow. Needless to say, I am hooked and in the process of upgrading the accessories that the SB-1 came with. While the R.A.K. accessories are good and enable you to shoot the bow out of the box, there are much better accessories out there. The incredible flexibility of the SB-1 will allow me to gift it to my son in a few years and buy myself another bow from Diamond Archery or Bowtech. Thanks for the incredible product and customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This bow is one of the best bows ever I love my bow it's my Ferrari, being one of the shortest draw lengths for an adult female, at 22 and a half inches I can still have a poundage of 60 and hunt well. I wouldn't trade my bow for any other. It is worth every dime my family spent on it for my birthday. Thanks for creating a truly wonderful bow. There is nothing that compares to hunting with a bow. It truly is the Ferrari of bows!
