THE NEW COOL
Lighter bows can be great for mobility while adding weight or dampeners can virtually eliminate vibration.
Compound bows have an adjustable draw length range and should be set to fit your unique body size and shape.
Max draw weights can typically be reduced by 10lbs. This provides comfortable draw cycles for everyone while maximizing energy.
Today’s average bow speeds offer more forgiveness on the shot than ever. Faster bows can deliver more downrange energy.
Longer bows can increase stability while shorter bows can be better suited for maneuverability and tight spaces.
A longer brace height can offer more forgiveness on the shot while a shorter brace height can make a fast bow even faster.
From the backyard and archery club to the competition range, the Prism delivers the performance and looks it takes to stand out in a crowd. This eye-catching bow provides the features every recreational archer needs to learn and grow in the sport, with an extreme level of versatility and adjustability. The wide range of limb adjustments allows for a draw weight range that can be adjusted from 5 to 55 pounds. Rotating modules allow for an astounding 18 to 30 inches of draw length, making it the perfect way to get any level or size archer into the sport.
Been wanting a compound for over a year, but couldn’t decide, I’ve been shooting recurve but wanted to be well versed in both for hunting and fun purposes.. stopped at a bow shop on a whim for my bday 10/18/xx and quickly fell in love, was offered to look at more bows, sharply declined, thankfully. This bow is absolutely perfect for me, we added a stabilizer(stinger) and away we went.. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
My daughter has used this bow to win county, regional and national target championships for the under 12 age group in the U.K. overall build quality is excellent, and the bow delivers on the wide range of adjustability while still feeling good through its range. It has one significant flaw that Diamond could address in an update: please add limb stops. The back wall of the bow is quite soft, particularly when the bow is shot in the lower part of the poundage range and hence the strings are under less tension. If removable limb stops were added, which could be used in addition to the string stops if the user wanted, that would take that problem away.
I purchased one each for my teens who only shot recurve bows in their lives. They love the bows which are so comfortable to shoot and available in bright Color’s which my Son choose the baby blue and my Daughter went for camouflage. It is very unlikely they will ever out grow these as we only shoot for fun on targets but well worth the money and quality. Should they get very serious about the sport this is where you want them to be for their first compound bow. 3 hours goes by in no time and the kids are loving it. I recommend and I feel I made a good purchase with no regrets.
I am 78 years old. I have been bow hunting nearly 40 years. I used to shoot 70 lbs. Over the years that has dropped . The Prism is the perfect bow for me. Maxes out at 55 lbs. I hope to shoot my last deer with this bow. Way to go Diamond !!!
Review from a 10 year old: “This bow is awesome! I have used it in 3D, outdoor competitions as well as indoor competitions and done well. I am looking forward to hunting with it in the future.”
Review from his parents: We appreciate the affordability on a bow that is so highly adjustable that he will not outgrow! As long as he continues to care for it with the respect it’s due, it will last indefinitely. It was recommended by his coach, and I (Mom) had been shooting a Diamond Razor Edge for 10 years at that point, so we knew it was a brand we could trust. His younger sister is expecting one for her birthday in the next few months. We cannot recommend this product highly enough.
