Lighter bows can be great for mobility while adding weight or dampeners can virtually eliminate vibration.
Compound bows have an adjustable draw length range and should be set to fit your unique body size and shape.
Max draw weights can typically be reduced by 10lbs. This provides comfortable draw cycles for everyone while maximizing energy.
Today’s average bow speeds offer more forgiveness on the shot than ever. Faster bows can deliver more downrange energy.
Longer bows can increase stability while shorter bows can be better suited for maneuverability and tight spaces.
A longer brace height can offer more forgiveness on the shot while a shorter brace height can make a fast bow even faster.
The Diamond Edge series has led the way in versatility and adjustability that doesn't break the bank. The Edge MAX takes it to a whole new level. Powering this high-performing machine is the Synchronized Binary Cam System, providing easy tuning and best-in-class downrange accuracy. A strategically engineered caged riser design increases stability to further increase accuracy. All this performance is coupled with a 15" range of draw length and a 50lbs range of draw weight adjustability to fit nearly any archer. Maximize your archery experience with the Edge MAX.
First bow i have owned, love the way it shoots and feels. Very smooth draw and feels very reliable.
I bought this bow from my local pro shop, and I was honest with them; I have never owned or shot a bow. Everyone at the pro shop was very knowledgeable and recommended this bow. I loved the look, and after shooting it a few times I loved how it shot as well. I am 6' 3" with some long arms so my draw length is maxed at 31" and I wish this bow could go just a hair longer, but it feels good at 31". After getting it sighted in I was hitting bulls at 20 yards after just a few shots. This bow feels good, and I can't wait to test it out in the field. If you are a beginning bow hunter then I recommend this product.
I had been on the hunt for a compound bow for some time. And after much research into build quality and reliability, followed by much more research into customer service dependability, I had chosen to go with diamond (Bowtech) lol. they are very well priced for what you get in terms to a hunt ready packaged bow. I actually anticipated buying the diamond edge 320 from my local archery shop but was told the newest version had come in and was new this year 2023. So without any long term feedback on this bow I did take a plunge head first but I am glad I did. Instantly looks and feels better than the previous edge model. Mind you I am new to archery but from all the bows I tried out in the same price range, none compare to the diamond edge in my opinion. And the edge max felt better in my draw than even the edge 320. They are very similar but not the same. But the big seller for this style of bow is the adjustability. That’s what made this bow the best option as I am new to compound bow archery and can use this bow to learn the fundamentals and increase my skill to where I can justify spending more money on a bow that will have less adjustability but more consistency with speed and accuracy. But you have to learn how to crawl before you walk. But for what it is, this bow is far superior than the rest in the price range. And I’m sure will help me bag a deer this fall. Thanks for revamping the already great diamond edge 320 to the edge max diamond! I am very happy.
As soon as I picked up this bow in Nov 2022 I knew I would like it. Its very light and compact. In the stand it is very maneuverable. Very smooth draw, a little noise but not much. Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the sight is not very good. I had to replace mine almost immediately. The allen head screws that hold the pins dig into the plastic housing of the sight and do not tighten well. If you over tighten, the pin will extend out more than it should causing you to shoot to far right or left. That being said, a new sight later and I am in love again with this little bow.
I went to the local dealer to look at bows and they had me try this one and said it had come out a few days prior. They also had me try a Mission archery Switch. Right off the bat the switch was a much better set up due to the sight, arrow rest, and also had a nice grip. The mission was around a $1000 set up and was nice but it just didn't feel right. I purchased the Edge max in the end. I really like how smooth it was when I pulled it back and it just felt right in my hands. With that being said it already has a new sight and it will have a new arrow rest shortly. I just really like how it feels and operates its a really nice bow for the money. With a few upgrades it will be a even nicer bow when I'm done. I haven't shot it a ton yet but will update more once I have a chance to shoot with it a little more.
