Lighter bows can be great for mobility while adding weight or dampeners can virtually eliminate vibration.
Compound bows have an adjustable draw length range and should be set to fit your unique body size and shape.
Max draw weights can typically be reduced by 10lbs. This provides comfortable draw cycles for everyone while maximizing energy.
Today’s average bow speeds offer more forgiveness on the shot than ever. Faster bows can deliver more downrange energy.
Longer bows can increase stability while shorter bows can be better suited for maneuverability and tight spaces.
A longer brace height can offer more forgiveness on the shot while a shorter brace height can make a fast bow even faster.
We didn’t cut any corners with the Atomic. We engineered it with the same quality components as our adult bows, featuring a durable aluminum riser, as well as cams built for the rigors of youth use. It’s also ultra-adjustable, with the addition of rotating modules and an extreme adjustability limb system. This youth bow easily adjusts from 12 to 24 inches and 6 to 29 pounds, to grow as fast as they do.
I purchased 2 of the Atomic bows for my two oldest daughters for their first bows and looking to add a 3rd Atomic for my son. They are a excellent bow for getting youth into archery and pack a punch for their size! You're getting your money's worth by purchasing one for a young archer and the ability for it to grow with them and actually fine tune to their draw length and appropriate poundage is HUGE! I only gave this 5 stars because 10 wasn't a option!
My son has been shooting in 3D archery leagues since he was 4 (he’s now 7) with this bow. It has grown with him, and the only hardware change we’ve made was a 3-pin sight. Excellent youth bow.
